The steel beams to support the first floor are in place, and the steels for the extension are waiting to be fitted. When we visit they are starting to take down the old kitchen walls.
Our Front Drive has become a builders yard, and tight security ensures that we need to negotiate entry. The security is so tight that as many as 3 pieces of string have to be undone to allow us to get in. A real deterrent for any would be villain.
We can only look on in admiration at the rate of progress.
