The back is now completely gutted, the place looks very sorry for itself. The kitchen ceiling will be raised up to the joists above, making it much lighter and airier.
Meanwhile Damien and his digger finish off the foundations, and all the old doors and windows are stripped out.
We move out - and leave Project 1 to get on with it. They are probably very glad to get rid of us.... We move into a huge house we are lucky enough to have rented. Our home for the next 2 months.
