Week 6 - The extension. Not a lot new to see this week. The extended area is being prepared for the joists to be put in next week. Will see some changes then. The piece of wood on the beam shows the profile of the roof - allegedly.

Week 6 - The back of the house

The plasterers are in - the ceilings are tacked in bedroom and shower room, and the insulation is in the kitchen ceiling waiting to be boarded. The fine looking gentleman is the plasterer himself.

Week 6 - Decorating

The decorators have started on the 2 main bedrooms. Goodbye pink wardrobes. Underneath the Joseph and His Amazing Technicolour Fireplace is a beautiful stone fireplace waiting to get out. Geoff (the plumber - remember him) is entering his sculpture - A bucket of old pipes - for the Turner this year, but he probably needs a far more pretension title to stand any chance of winning.

Week 5 - deliveries

The bathroom stuff is delivered. The large white thing is not a swimming pool - it is Su's bath apparently.

A portable toilet is delivered for the builders. How have they managed for the past 4 weeks? Best not to ask.....

Week 5 - Dudley's bathroom

This is Dudley's new bathroom. Looking good? It used to be Su's, but she is getting a shiny new one. Dudley always has to make do with hand-me-downs.

Week 5 - bedroom 3 and the shower room

This is Seb's old room.The old shower room is now the bedroom, and the old utility room is now the shower room. Did you get all that?

Week 5 - The invasion of the plumbers...

The plumber (Geoff for the record) arrives and lays pipes everywhere
